August 7, 2017 - The final for the overall championship went to a suddent death playoff where last year's winner, Jack Wachter (Forest Hills), prevailed over Michael Bugyis (Algonquin). Wachter closed Bugyis out on the Number 17, Par 4, the first playoff hole. Both players shot 71. In the overall cup, Josh Heidenry (Greenbriar) placed 3rd, Tyler Dawson (Sunset CC) placed 4th, and Ray Winter (Sunset CC) and Blake Mazzola (Forest Hills) placed 5th.
