The Accelerated Golf Tour (AGT) is a series of two–day tournaments designed for male and female collegiate and advanced high school golfers that began in the St. Louis metro area in the summer of 2011. The AGT consists of a series of tournaments during June, July and, in some years, the first week of August. The tournaments are conducted on challenging courses in the greater St. Louis metro area. |
WHY THE AGT? After talking with many college coaches, Carol Fromuth, AGT Tour Administrator, realized there was a void in golf programs for collegiate and advanced high school players. The AGT has filled that void, providing a higher level of competition. The two-day tournaments offer an opportunity for coaches to observe players’ skills and temperament for consistency over a two-day event.

| *AJGA The AJGA will award 4 Performance Stars to the Girls (14-18) Champion and 1 Performance Star to the Top 3 Girls (14-18) IF 12 girls are entered in each of these events. | |
| If an event is not guaranteed PBE status by the AJGA but meets the minimum field size requirements of Boys (14-18) 40 players or Girls (14-18) 20 players, the AGT will email the tournament results immediately following the event to the AJGA for their consideration in recognizing the event retroactively. | |
| The AJGA will award 4 Performance Stars to the Boy and Girl Player of the Year. | |
